The Californian website is a sophisticated browser-based mapping application.  Users may search for community services, research and share community data, and consult the Healthy City team for strategic advice.  In addition to creating maps from the data that is available on their website, a user can also upload their own data by creating a free account.  Created by the Advancement Project, this is an impressive example of integrating spatial thinking into ‘service referral and social change’.
